Sorry for the late update today.
AND for not updating yesterday. ahha.

sooo let's start with yesterday!
went to school.
had functions test!
i think i lost like a mark or two.
It's those kind of tests that you know you either score with flying colours or you're getting zero.
cause i wasn't sure I had the forumla right. LOL.

then after that CNY performance.
finally I can praise AJ cause this year's performance was way more entertaining then the previous years.
esp Wushu. good job with getting the guy with the mask during the wushu performance! ahha! that was funny!

I think the girl MC-ing seems a bit over enthu.
But maybe she was meant to do that, soooo. ahha.
the guy was cool though. =D

sooo. after that!
went home to slack.
then met clinton.
then met shaun.
then met weeseng.
he was damn pissed off cause he thought he would be late and rushed a cab there, costing 16 bucks.
and it ended up we were later than him. AHHA.

anyway! we went to romano's at upper thomson.
not exactly a very grand place, but can see it caters to the people living around there.
because every where is terrace and semi-detach and whatsnot.

but it. was. awesome.
the food was heavenly man.
i mean, i just ordered penne al pesto.
which, in english, meant. Plain 'ol pasta.(I think)

because it had nothing. HAHA I'M SERIOUS.
just penne and cream.
and it was one of the cheapest thing on the menu.
and it cost me 12 bucks. LOL.

BUT OMG.
THE PENNE WAS. OMG GOOD.
IT WAS LIKE JUST... AWESOME.
NO WONDER THEY DIDN'T PUT ANY TOPPINGS, THEY DIDN'T NEED TO.
it was. wow.

haha and after that we ordered tiramisu!
which was delicious too!
ended up spending like twenty bucks each.

then we went off to Liquid Kitchen!
which was like at thomson plaza.
Shaun suggested bus.
and i seconded it after realizing we had to walk like a bizillion kilometers to reach there.
but we ended up walking still -.-
and we walked.
and walked.
and walked.

So! we reached there at last!
was like super tired alrdy LOL.
then went inside and looked through the menu.
EVERYTHING INSIDE SUPER EX AGAIN OMG LOL.
was deciding between margarita or martini when weeseng and shaun recommended bloody mary.
Since I've always like heard about the drink but never tried it.
So ordered it.
weeseng had tequila sunrise(which was damn nice-in taste)
and clinton and shaun took advantage of the happy hour to get beer. ahha.

so! my bloody mary!

it tasted like.
hahaha.
omg i dunno how to say.
tomato juice?
but it's like super sour.
with hints of spicy-ness.
and it burns with it went down my throat.
HAHAA.

it was drinkable.
but not exactly like-able.
But on hindsight,
I felt like some sort of secret vampire drinking it. HAHA.
maybe cause the vodka was strong, so my thoughts were running everywhere.

AND NO I NEVER GOT TIPSY. AHHA. JUST A DISCLAIMER.
soso! anyway! back to the story!
we were drinking halfway, then i was just stoning when i was like
"hey guys, the guy outside looks alot like jason seng (AJ maths teacher)."
Then one of them was like
"cannot be la. you sure anot"
then I was not sure also, then weeseng
"omg omg they are AJ teachers! there's the bio teacher!"
Then before we needed more confirmation they all walked in.
AHHA.
then we were like
"omg really aj teachers!"
then they totally walked past us and went to the corner of the pub .
then after that weeseng was like "eh they know us la. they keep looking over here and laughing"
so we went over! hahaa then i was like
"mr seng! still remember me anot!"
"of course la! you are... wenbin right?"
HAHA.

sorry i just thought it's not everyday you see 2 AJ maths teachers, a bio and a chem teacher walking into a pub LOL
two of them ordered beer.
that's all i remembered HAHA.

then after that went home
and wanted to use my com.
but my brother was hogging it to play his computer games.
so i gave up and slept =x

so today!
nothing much.
did geog drq.
watched tv.
felt bored.

Insecurity and Paranoia

Well now, I get low and I get high

sucks to run 2.4km with a stitch.
but at least i still passed. aha.
on the dot. like seriously on the dot. one more second and i would have failed. LOL.

ok so today's post... might not be so happy.
I have my highs and lows, right?
haha ok back to the topic today, which would be insecurity and being paranoid.

It sucks to feel all alone out there.
Fighting a lonely battle.
At least I had awesome close friends last time I could share my everyday problems with.
Now... sigh.

Which brings me to my topic. insecurity.

something I'm suffering from greatly.
There are these crazy conspiracy theories running around my head everyday.
seriously.
About my life, my school, my friends, classmates, EVERYTHING.
some are quite plausible when I think about it,
some are just plain absurd,
and some are really absurd but seem to contain traces of truth.

What's the difference between insecurity and paranoia?
I don't really know, to be honest.
but maybe, just maybe, I may be able to get a close friend to tell all these theories to in the future.
It'll be nice to have some perspective on the matter.
and some of them are seriously ridiculous.
aha. but I'll save it for the moment.

At first, I guess I had quite some confidence.
but now, I'm not feeling so sure.
Stupid insecurity.

ok, i shall share one conspiracy theory about the class from each category; since I'm feeling pretty down and out now.
Most likely true: I have a utterly horrid reputation now. And I can understand why. Guess it's up to me to show everyone I'm really not whatever the rumors make me out to be.

A little ridiculous but has hints of truth to it: Someone in class hates me. alot.

Utterly ridiculous but I can't help it: Everyone in class doesn't like me at all and doesn't want me around but has no choice. (due to the first theory.)

Told you I was insecure.
kinda stupid when I think about it.
But it's like.. whenever one of them sticks in your head,
everything else just seem to fall into place, even when they're not supposed to.
And I have so many of these just running about in my head screaming out =(

haha looks like I have alot of work to do with regards to mental health. aha.

but I guess I gotta stay happy, eh.
I mean, hey, life isn't going to keep kicking you down.. right?
There has GOT to be a light. somewhere, somehow.

I just hope I can find it real soon. =)

And one last word: Yes. It was my fault. the whole thing. I didn't know what I was getting myself into and just went at it. I'm sorry. I deserve all the bad things you may or may not say about me. So don't feel bad.

And to everyone else: It's all true. I was utterly irresponsible. I'm sorry. I was a horrid person. So if you're wondering, believe it. It was true. But don't lose hope in me, not now, not yet. It was a flaw in my personality, my character, that forces me to fail in this kind of situation. But now I see the flaw, so please, please, please, not now, not yet. There is still hope. Please hope.

P.S. This was done in a sheer act of insecurity and paranoia.

friday.
went to esplanade to study =)
managed to do a little work.

wayy more productive than what I would have been doing if I had stayed at home.

which is immediately proven on saturday!

suppose to go out for "law-abiding citizen" with weeseng and clinton
but apparently weeseng fell down with some illness.
haven't asked him what it is yet though.
but from his "let's go to movie on tuesday instead!" sms today;
i'm guessing he's getting wayy better already. aha.

then my family wanted to go out for dinner,
and my brother was making up an excuse to not go.
and his excuse was "I'm going out later with friends"
guess what we found when we came home like 5 hours later?
exactly where where we left him, on the bed watching TV.
way to make up an excuse bro. LOL.

so, back to the story.
Went to chinatown for dinner!
had the awesome chicken rice we always have.
then i thought we would go home. but nooooo.
they wanted to walk around the night market.
ON CNY.
=(
and at first i thought, heyyy, it isn't that crowded.
but then i realized we were on the wrong area of chinatown.
so by the time we reach the night market.
It was people sea people mountain.
or was that people mountain people sea?
ok nvm. random.
so it was like.. this!


then while walking and walking, we came across the standard CNY plants.
this one!

makes you wonder... what exactly are these things anyway?
I mean, plants have leaves, flowers have well.. colour and petals.
These rod thingys just seem to have.. buds! and even when they bloom.. wait... i don't even remember them ever blooming.
hmmm... what's the deal here man?
Must be some rip-offs businessman in china came up with long ago.
they probably went around and
" I have no money now. CNY is coming. there must be a way to make money."
Then they see these thingys and think
"I can chop them down and sell them! Then tell them they have to throw it away after CNY so no one will know they never bloom!"
then after that went and made a fortune.
ah wells.

soso! we walked around an awful awful lot.
We even saw this cool store.
the guy was like a distance away from this mini-toy on the mat.
Then he was like "dance!" and the toy will suddenly dance!
then he will "sit" and the toy will sit down! omg it was damn cool.
he called it the magic toy and was selling it for 5 bucks.
if my parents weren't there I would have totally bought it to find out what's the secret.
and they were giving away like free jelly thingy!

And I found out I can never shop with my parents.
because we have totally different motives.
ok nvm. I shall get to that later.

So! we went to "far-east" florist after that.
I was thinking... whattt? I thought we were going home?
So i was like walking around on my own.
then i found out... everywhere were flowers.
SERIOUSLY. OMG.
IT'S LIKE THE BIGGEST FLOWER CONVENTION EVER OR SOMETHING.
THERE'RE LIKE 4 OR 5 MAJOR SELLERS
AND IT WAS CNY SO THEY WERE SELLING EVERYTHING AT AN OFFER.
OMGOMG.
THEN THEN. I WALKED AROUND AND SAW A "DEEP FREEZER" SECTION
A SIGN SAID INSIDE WERE EXCLUSIVELY FLOWERS FROM OTHER REGIONS OF THE WORLD.
SO i WENT IN. IT WAS LIKE FREEZING INSIDE. I THINK IT WAS 10 DEGREES. THE THERMOMETER OUTSIDE SAID IT.
BUT OMG OMG.
YOU KNOW.
THE ROSES WERE GORGEOUS.
SERIOUSLY.
THERE WAS THE BLOOD-RED ROSES.
AND THE ROMANCE PINK ONES.
OMG OMG AND THEY WERE FROM NEW ZEALAND I THINK.
NOT VERY SURE.
AND THEN IT WAS LIKE. NOT THE ROTTING ONES YOU NORMALLY BUY FROM AMK HUB.
THE SERIOUSLY OMG IT WAS LIKE THE PERFECT ROSES.
AND 41 BUCKS FOR 12. OMG I SO WANTED TO BUY IT.
THEN I REALIZED THERE WAS NO POINT. AH WELLS.

and i always thought stuff like these were plastic props.

and my parents weren't done shopping.
cause they were like lalala dunno also shop so long.
So i walked off and since the whole place looked so much like some overgrowth rainforest.
I pretended to be a spy and pretend to spy on this woman who seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere.
HAHAH. it was an awesome experience.
i think she found out at some point of time, cause she kept looking back but i was never spying on her from the back at all. I was in front of her. LOL. So i walked off in case she called the security on me.LOL.

so after that my parents wanted to go home. so there.

and today!
I woke up.
watched tv.
did geog.
revived my game-boy advance.
found out i can't save =( cause mine is a pirated cartridge. so sad ok!
cannot play pokemon =(
so i played yoshi's island instead. HAHA.
and then! my parents called.
my dad was like "come over to amk hub now. mom wants to buy a pair of bermuda for you"
i was feeling super lazy but i dragged myself down to there anyway.
haha then i found out they were having a major discount! cotton on!
buy one get the other item at 50% off.
then i got super excited.
hahahaa.
cause after choosing my bermudas, my mum was like "still want to buy anything else?"
I ended up with like 3 shirts by the time i reach the changing room LOL.
then i found out something.
I CANNOT GO SHOPPING WITH MY PARENTS. =(
cause:
1) they will only buy what they want to buy.(which in this case was the bermudas)
2)my mum hates the colour black. (and 90% of my wardrobe is black)
3) They have the last say cause they're paying =(

So i ended up only buying the bermudas.
booo.
SO! I NEED TO GO SHOPPING.

then i just hurry up and returned it and pretend that i was the only person in the world. LOL.
then ran back home.

came across this advertisement

i was thinking... dragonball?
then i found out it's some single event
as I read on i was laughing like crazy.
so apparentally it's this event where everyone brings a friend and have this mega-big party and everyone knows each other and speed-date and then get married.
then i saw the picture for the advert.
it's like these 2 guys and girls who look super fit, pretty, like awesome people.
then i realized: they're probably already attached.
imagine the faces on the people who goes to these events and find out single people aren't like those in the advert. LOL.
