The sunlight streamed across the dark barren landscape like a warm blanket. The trees, or whatever was left of them, lit up and almost seemed to lean in towards the creeping sunlight.
It was here again.
After 200 years, the planet of Chonk was having their summer. It wasn't a freak occurrence, even though scientists all over the universe haven't been able to come to an appropriate theory yet, well, not a scientific one anyway.
The villagers of Malpo were looking on in the awe of the sun's powers. It had been so long, so cold. They knew it was only through the power of Numb, their God of Ice, were this possible. The Icy world of Hell has retreated and made way for the weakling BBQ, a lousy minor supernatural servant who controlled the fire.
And a meteorite came and destroyed the village and everything in its path.
